The Darkness

The sky turns gray as the sun sets on this, another day

The stars never appear before me

I do not deserve such beauty of life to bestow upon me their bliss

The night grows darker with each passing second

I lose sight of what is right in front me

Fading faster and faster

I stand alone, isolated from the rest of the world

Weak, my body feels weak and I lose the ability to stand

My energy is sapped from my body and I feel myself slip away

Where am I, who am I, what is happening to me

I lay there silent until I have no more energy to think

Am I dead, am I alive, what I am is uncertain

It seems I will never know

I am simple, not really into doing anything out of the ordinary or at least at a standard of what I believe in what my own personality.
