The Darkness

The Vacuum sucks my life away

Degrades me, makes me gross

I’m not dirty, the vacuum is

Ugly faceless abyss

That thing, pretending I’m messy

Treating me like a dog

I’m not the machine here you beast

It mocks me with its vurr.

But lo and behold, I’m human

With the power in me

A button slays the mighty beast.

Why did I fret so much?

They make me work like none other

I hate the work I do

It's a dirty life of cleaning,

Meant for me but not meant for you?
