Darkness

I feel the darkness engulf me

And I wonder if I’m gonna die

The air around me is becoming no more

As I lay on the dirty floor boards

I feel the darkness engulf me

As my life flashes before my eyes

I feel this urge to get up and run

But there’s something holding me back like the sun

I feel the darkness engulf me

As I fall farther and farther into the clutches of death

I feel a cold hand surround my neck

And all I can think about is Death

I feel the darkness engulf me

While I’m being slapped around by a huge shadow

I feel the earth brake beneath me

And I scream out before I fall and hit my knee

I feel the darkness engulf me

And I wonder if I’m gonna die

I feel a cold hand surround my neck

As my life flashes before my eyes
