Darkness

The darkness,

Its closing in around me.

Heart pounding, Heart racing.

Thought after thought

Just keeps coming and going.

Feeling that numb feeling once again.

Ears in pain, Head throbbing.

Heart aching, Just wishing

To be with you again.

To hear your laugh again.

Tears falling, Feet running.

Arms reaching, Wanting,

To reach out and touch you.

Just hug you one last time.

Pain, Keeps spreading.

Cause, Unknown.

Frustration, Keeps growing.

Wondering if I had called you,

Would it have changed?

Would you still be here?

Would I not feel this pain?

Would I still be crying?

I wish I had called.

I knew I should have.

I wish I talked to you more.

But now, you're gone.

I can't change that.

No one can.

You sacrificed so we could live.

Live an eternal life.
