The Darkness In Between

The light at the end of the tunnel, But first the darkness in between, Where all yours fears, and weaknesses lie on the scene, The obstacles are tough, and you’re competing for the win Everyone is the judge where rumors flow like the wind And every day we try and fit into the ideal eye of humanity But when we break they count the mistakes and we’ll never be free For we are human are we not, and yes we struggle and tumble a lot But we also stand back up with heart and strength and head down our path to victory We all have our failures, when we will lose it all But we also have remedies that help break the fall Mine is a pen, and with it I write Of all the reasons that I should still fight Through the judgments, the troubles, the hardships And into success that proves it was all worth it
