Darkness inside

Who am I

You may wonder

But listen close to my remedy:

Take a deep breath

And let it all out

Scream and shout

Until your lungs collapse

Your pain does not control you

You control your pain

Throw expensive champagne glasses

Against a cinderblock wall

Destroy everything in your path

You are a hurricane 

Tearing through everything

Until it’s a barren wasteland

Of total emptiness 

Everything you care for

Destroyed at your feet 

Everything you are

Shattered into pieces

Only once you’ve nothing left to give

Will I disappear 

No longer do you wonder 

Who I am

I am the darkness inside you
