Darkness never kept at bay

Darkness never kept at bay Always wanting at my heart Blood dripping everyday A past so full of strife in every way A taste of bile so tart Darkness never kept at bay Fighting life in every way An ever piercing dart Blood dripping every day We die, in this we have no say For life is but a dark art Darkness never kept at bay Screaming and weeping within each day Thrashing and tearing out thy heart Blood dripping every day Slowly dying away Consumed by the dark Darkness never kept at bay Blood dripping every day
