Darkness Surrounds

Always so dark,

Always so cold,

Unhealthy treatment,

Abusive relations,

Trapped in my own mind,

Repressing the memories,

Though encouraging the darkness,

To flood my young mind.

So cold,

So trapped,

My memories never last.

To numb the pain,

Can't feel anything anymore,

Bleeding to feel something,

Even if it's pain.
