Darling..

Darling,
I find myself wishing nothing but good health and spirits for you.
Yet I'm plagued by this sudden worry.
You're gorgeous, sweeter than candy and intelligent, you are caring, thoughtful yet you find ways to see yourself in such a light I fail to comprehend.
A  light that doesn't exist because it fades into darkness. I know you count down the days till we meet, I know our hearts are intertwined every time they beat,I know I'm happy we got to meet. So why?
Why dampen the spirit that keeps you alight why let them get to you and take the light behind your once starry eyes.
You're a universe,a force of many yet you hide behind those walls of yours and become a lonely star trapped in a galaxy of one.. I'm not a hero.
I can't save you,I can help you, hold you, love you but I regret so deeply that I can't be the superman who saves you my Lois lane.
Rather, I hope we can be there for each other. I can be there for you.
Just let me in,break down the walls, even if for just a moment so I can hold you and protect you even for a second... because it's my purpose it's what drives me. You're are what drives me.
So please, dry those moon lit eyes, on my sleeve. I'll hold you tight in any weather, whether wind or storm I'll be there for you, can that be the norm?
I can kiss the pain away, all the bandages in the world I can bring to heal the scars that plague your every waking nightmare.
I'll keep you safe,my darling,my love. But you have to help me, don't hurt yourself.
Don't plague your canvas with the harsh brush strokes of the world's poisonous water and paint your skin with red. Don't cry oceans of despair my love, for it will be okay.
You'll be okay.. so stare at the night sky,I'll be staring back at you. And we will sing the songs of our love and how we got through.
