Darling, It's because I love you

Darling, It's because I love you

It's because I love you

It's because I love you

I say after every enraged swing I've taken at you

Darling, It's because I love you

It's because I love you

It's because I love you

I say after every rotten bruise I've given you

Darling, It's because I love you

It's because I love you

It's because I love you

I say after every dreadful threat I've said to you

Darling, It's because I love you

It's because I love you

It's because I love you

Swing

Darling, I love you

Threat

Darling, I really do love you

Hit

Darling, I will never stop loving you

And as I put my cold menacing hand around your pretty fragile neck

I whisper softly,

"It's because I love you"
