a date in the denny’s bathroom

I'm just not a girl

Not a girl who is defined

Defined by reason and by doubt

Reason of virtues

And doubt of minds

I am not your girl

I'm not defined

By the reason and doubt

Conjured in your mind

Sitting in wooden bathroom stalls

Silence and yellow walls

Cloudy figures and dreary lights

I feel the beast awaken tonight
