"Daughter" of Mine -- Cinderella from the Stepmother's View

Such a dumb "daughter" of mine

Doesn't even know how to set the table

Acts as if she's related to the swine

She's just way to hard to enable

Such a pesky "daughter" of mine

Always playing with a bird or a rat

Acts as if she's of age nine

No Cinderella - and that's that

Such a sneaky "daughter" of mine

Somehow managed to go to the ball in an elaborate dress

I'm just hoping she will stay in line

But, well, I guess that is just too much stress

Such a dumb, pesky, sneaky "daughter" of mine

That is, until he finds out it was her shoe all along

Then, I assume she is the smart, quirky, perfect daughter of mine

But again, that's all wrong
