Daughterly love

 I often wonder what

My life would be

Without my one,

My one and only.

My Mom wakes up

Every day at 5:30

To get me ready ,

Then she goes to work, absurdly.

Without her,

I would be a mess

My pants would be

outside of my dress.

My clothes would be wrinkled,

My hair would be damp,

Without her,

I wouldn't even be able to turn on a lamp.

My mom keeps me grounded

Like a rock super-glued to the floor

My thoughts may be crowded

But they're always true to the core.

My mom is my shoulder

To cry on when I am sad.

She's there like my boulder

And she makes me feel not so bad.

I love my mom

and couldn't live without her.

 I'll continue to love,

and cherish her forever.
