A Daughter's Dream

Your voice....

That's all I seem to hear, but I can't understand your words.

My tears...

That's all I seem to feel now lately.

Why am I crying?

I never really knew you.

But, you did help give me life.

Maybe, that's why it hurts.

I wished you were in my life.

Did you know I used to dream about you?

But because of you I can no longer love.

I've been damaged by your absence.

And now your gone....

You were my father.

And I will always love you.
