A Daughter's Wish

We all come from a father and mother

My Mom played both parts

With working day in and day out

Supporting my brother and I

We all have a Spiritual Father in our hearts

Such a common tale

A wound that may never heal

Closure is what I need

As does every other seed.

There is an empty spot in my life

When I see others who are whole, I have envy

But I know it is from the Enemy

One day, courage will come

Along with an answer.

The highs and lows will be cease

Let it be

And that—that is what matters to me
