Dawn

There are sme things you remember

And there are some things you can't forget

But these things belong to story not part of this verse

Indeed they have shaped me

But they have not defined me

For I have broken free of those chains

My wings now spreading

And I wonder

How do I make you see?

The world

The future

Through my eyes

Words are not enough to describe

The beauty

The promise

Of everything

That has yet to come

That will be

Because of me

How do I make you feel?

Music

The way I do

Colors

The way I do

An experience beyond rational mind and explaination

How do I show you?

My passion

For helping others

My curiosity

That will never allow me to give up

My satisfaction

With the few things I have

The only things I need

Family

Friends

What I care for most in this world

My fear

Of loosing them

My hopes

Of making them proud

We can't always have what we want

And what I once wanted most

My body has already decided I cannot have

But what I want most

Love

Happiness

Adventure

Is already laid before me

Within my reach

What fortune

To be so lucky

I am truly blessed

Something that I will never forget

Regardless

Of what came before

And I know

That I am not alone

That I am not unique

Yet

I am still one of a kind

And I am not afraid

To ask for help

For it is not a mark of weakness

It is a mark of strength

I am not afraid

Of what lies before me

I know my path

A challenge like no other

But I will master everything that is set before me

After all

It is only the dawn of the hour of my success
