Dawn

Sometimes I wonder why

Why we have to try

Try not to let the world bring us down

Even when our dreams come crashing to the ground

Let me cry a little while

I’m tired of wearing this fake smile

But maybe if we try

Maybe our dreams won’t die

Outside the rain is falling on the ground

I lean my head against the window listening to the sweet sound

Tonight I go to bed with a yawn

Tomorrow will be a new dawn
