The Dawn of My VOICE

I am Validating

Eyes closed, ears open, tongue-tied

Crushing loved ones in my arms

Drying tears in silence

Screaming your perfections

I am Offbeat

Carpet stage just for me

Dancing to a different rhyme

Words and characters collide in mute

Every me gracing the hidden stage

I am Investigative

My curiosity giggles

Rose glass quizzical

Searching for answers

To the joke that is my mind

I am Canty

I can’t sit still

Gotta sing and yell

A bundle of energy

That can’t touch the ground

I am Eclat

Shining bright

Sparkling short and tight

I steal center stage

Dazzling and digital

As dancing streams of pixelated dust

I swirl in random directions

Giving each particle a note

Becoming pieces of me

Becoming their song

For I am a VOICE
