A Dawn of A New World

I have been introduced to poetry all my life But only now am I joining I feel in love with the way words said at a certain pace Can make my heart race I discovered a beautiful way of expressing myself without violence or harm To my alarm, that not everyone uses this strategy Why do i write Is it because I am afraid to say these words out loud Or is it because if I began rehearing around outside, I would captivate a crowd Maybe even raise some brows And cause others to follow the sound of my voice See poetry has always fascinated me to a point of disbelief That anyone could possess this skill You do not need to steal others spoken word, poetry does not celebrate thiefs I feel in love when I attended a talent show where poetry showed its face When the scene began my heart raced fast because I am weak for cleverly aligned words I yearn for its taste As the scene unfolded, it was more than I expected I found myself rendered frozen in the midst of such an atmosphere I see now why we snap so the loud clap does not difuse the effects from the intelligence that was delivered I write because I feel this world unfold everytime I take out a paper and pen I write because this is my addiction and I hope the feds don't throw me in the pin I write because of the feeling that creeps through my veins I write because I need the world to understand my pain I write to introduce a dawn of a new world to silent men
