That Day

that day when one woman stood up for her rights as an American citizen and said "No, i will not get out my seat". that day when one man took the risk to go in front of thousands to present a speech of his true beliefs, knowing the consequences it may or not bring that day when 9 students choose to better themselves through a better education were harassed and treated cruelly just for the mere fact of wanting something better for themselves. Those days made sure that as an African American student that lives in the United states gets a chance to be treated fairly as a human being and a fair educational opportunity Today.
