That Day
For you have passed and gone,
since the day you went with the dawn.
For you found your way,
to the side of your wife that day.
In those coming days,
in many different ways,
memories were remembered and shared,
and your stories compared.
As many tears were shed,
and heartfelt condolences said.
Family and friends came together again,
to say goodbye and one last amen.
The angels came for you that day,
to bring you on your way.
To an everlasting life,
in heaven with Christ and your wife.
