The day of

The days of Dear unborn son, Wake me up like your Simba I will show you how to rock your pride I will show you how to roar from the depths of your soul Help me grow into your father As you set as my sun. Boy I have told you many times how you will treat a woman I have instilled it upon myself to raise you like evergreens To make you understand common sense/cents Pennies nickels and dimes Even though it shines You don't cherish it more than life You don't pray for more because it causes strife Do you see the road you're walking is the road less travelled Less graveled You see I know it's not easy That walk down memory lane Was a way to escape the miscues So giving an excuse Is not a reason to do the least You fight for your rights Never stop educating yourself Constantly surround yourself by people who love, trust, and honor who you are And always love yourself son Don't stop shining sun Don't let your light become engulfed in this world of darkness Son, I love you Grow into a king plus an X Turn your black fist into a mold for stars You know so they rest on your chest Keep dreaming while obtaining the key for your freedom Be the key to dreams Son By: Stanley G.
