The day is coming

The day is coming, The day is almost here, You know the day, We all look forward to it at the end of senior year. The day is big, And its just another step in life, You will not forget it, I can almost garenttee, Its something Im definately ready to be.

Like you say in your poem, the end of senior year brings the next big chapter in our lives, because we have much more freedom and are able to decide for ourselves where our lives go from there. Repeating "the day" enhances your anxiousness as well as the reader's anticipation.
