The Day is Coming

The day is coming
When you left me alone
I can no longer see your smile
No longer call you on the phone
I miss the way you used to laugh
The long talks we had late at night
I even miss our bickering
The ways we used to fight
I miss the anger. I miss the love
I miss the jokes, I miss the humor
I miss everything about you
The way you would yell at me
The way you would cuss
How everything we did together
Became such a fuss
The bond that we had I could share with no other
The sacred bond of a sister and brother
I know that you watch me from up above
You see that I miss you, through the laughter and love
The bond that we had will never be broken
The secrets we kept will never be spoken
But know that my heart will always be broken
Until the day that we are together again
A sister and brother forever best friends
