A Day to Day

I looked up at the sun and an unsettling feeling began to rise. As my eyes began to squint the joyfull warm embrase, like the hug of an old friend was absent and replaced by a cold hearted clench of someone I've never met. My eyes began to burn as my heart grew colder. This kind of day doesn't deserve the sun and neither do I.
