Day Dream

I know you're out there somewhere, waiting patiently. I know because I do believe in the perfect one for me. Your face is like an angel, and your smile shines so bright. Your eyes are like the sunset I get lost in, while I stare at night. You love the Lord, Your God with your mind, soul, strength, and heart. You accept me for who I am, even the rocky parts. You have unending patience and your forgiveness never ceases. You stick to what you say, and your truth, it never decreases. When you look at me your eyes light up like a swarm of lightening bugs. When you speak to me, you use respect, and at my heart you tug. You tell me that I'm beautiful; the perfect one for you. You remind me how important I am and that your love is true.

I enjoyed reading this poem. The beat was well thought out and the contradiction really worked well !
