A Day in the Life


Seeing everything in tessellations The repetitions of this clockwork nation From the 9 to 5 self-depreciation To my sleep-deprived hallucinations Thinking in strings but we don't sew them together Watching what eat, as if we want to live forever "Just a few more paychecks and everything will get better" Too afraid to think too much, blame it on the weather Maybe if we all came together... You know the end of this, said so many times before But we're all so busy playing games, so busy keeping score Watch the clock and spill your blood, make sure to mop the floor
