A Day in the Life
The ritualistic sacrifices of mental health and socialization are left at the alters of Calculus, Biology, and all that is AP,
For every ounce of free time is accounted for as to maintain distance with the stresses, lies, and responsibilities plaguing the depths of my mind, yet at the core of the facade of what is expected of me,
the future is a vast harvest of promise eclipsed with fears of its rapid approach and questions over the navigability in the newly acquired state of no-longer child yet not nearly an adult,
gone are the days wasted away blissfully ignorant to the reality that every step I take has a direct repercussion toward the success of my awaiting careers,
but at least all’s well for the roughly 4 hours left for sleep each night.
