A Day in the Life

The worth of a life is not measurable

It is not an exact science they say

The use of a life is not testable

You just gotta live day by day

Make it through the daily grind

While society makes your label

Never allowed to liberate your mind

All you can do is pretend to be stable

As each day comes to and end

You are approached by the night

You meet you only friend

You engage in a silent fight

With yourself, debating life

All through the this does continue

Asking why, why all of this strife

Until it is realized, life is askew

You wake the next morning feeling refreshed

Ready to face society

You get ready and dressed

then it is seen, resistence is laced with futility
