Day Light masks

Why is it that light is sacred? It creates a simple mask. It instills fear of realization The shadows draw forth inner desires, It awakens our true side. The light makes us seen It creates a golden mask, One of beauty Loyalty and joy But happiness falters behind the mask Waiting for it's time to shine, In the darkness of the night.
