A Day As A Muse

Calliope the Wise

Would be most popular with the guys.

But if they met her demise,

She would turn them into magpies.

She was a favorite of the music teacher

For her voice was her best feature.

And after her singing match with the Pierides Sisters,

It was certain that no one could beat her.

During lunch period, she would indulge in ancient poetry

Basking in eloquence, dark locs flowing in the breeze

Clio and Urania approaching, "Principal Pierus would like to speak with you."

She sighed, "Tell father, one moment, please."
