A Day to NEVER be Forgotten

I was sitting at my desk, the clock ticking away I had no idea what was happening on that dreadful day The bell rang and I darted to class Only to be stopped by an adult who said "whoah, not so fast!" As I looked around, I saw kids crying... Coming to find out, hundreds were dying Planes were crashing and I did not know How could people do this and then just go? I just witnessed the scariest feeling of all, while everyone was packed in that tiny hall Prayers were being recited Our nation had to be reunited Not long after, thousands were sent to the Middle East All on a mission to capture those ugly beasts Before long, thousands were deceased while many seeked inspiration from priests May 2nd, 2011, Osama Bin Laden ended up in the opposite place from Heaven The Navy Seals completed their mission, their hearts were filled with loads of ambition Reflecting back on that day, I wish it would have gone another way It was like everything came crashing down from Heaven Rest in Peace to all of those who passed away on 9/11
