Day of Our Life

A vast city located in center of a land,

filled with passersby and unknown faces from a clan,

this is all when it began.

As I roamed around inside this huge city planning to visit my mother,

I got a phone call from my older brother,

telling me to drop off the letters for my father.

I told him I drop it off later on the day after the visit,

but he replied and called me an useless idiot.

Ending the phone call with a depressing sigh,

I decided to let it go by,

since he always enjoy acting like a tough guy.

As I strolled from street to street,

I saw a guy admitting his defeat.

A girl crossed her arms like she doesn't care,

everyone around had stopped to stare.

It was another of those relationship crisis,

which always seems to be lifeless.

As I make my departure,

the crowd is getting larger.

My phone ring out of the blue,

it a call from the bakery of fondue,

reminding me to pick up the order of Tiramisu.

It is my mother's birthday today.

Maybe I should also get her a Blue Jay.

But the bird store is about to close anyway.

I called my sister to see where she is,

it seems like she is still stuck in her business.

Hoping she is getting off from work soon,

a child near me is crying to his mother for a cartoon.

I watched for a moment,

and the store owner came out smoking.

I left quickly before the air becomes polluted,

that's when my money got looted.

I shouted at the mysterious running thief.

Jeez!

I chased him down while gripping my phone tightly,

realized this week hasn't been so finely.

As I caught up and crashed the person down,

everyone started to surround.

Mistaken her as a man when I took off her baseball cap,

her hair loosen and she snapped.

I realized it was an old friend,

who always fall upon one of today's trend.

She pulled a prank,

made me chased her all the way in front of a bank.

As we laughed it off and part ways,

she gave me back my money and some of hers anyways.

When I realized that happened,

she disappeared and I couldn't imagined.

I turned around and realized it was time,

made my way to my mother's house after getting a bottle-drink of lemon lime.

Everybody arrived and gathered,

including my older brother, father, and my older sister.

The celebration started,

and she has been greatly rewarded.

It was a great time,

as the bells started to chime.
