A Day To Remember And Never Forget

As blue as the ocean, the sky was.

Not a trace of rain.

Looking out the window, I'm going insane.

I look across from me and see the workers.

I swear this tie is a choker.

Sitting on the 105th floor, minding my own when suddenly Zoom! Crash! Boom!

Coming as fast as lightning, out of a peaceful sky came horror that did bat its eye.

"Oh my God!" someone did say.

"A plane crashed!"

The office bustled in disaray.

Twenty-five minutes later, we all did hear the Zoom! Crash! Boom! of a plane hitting here.

The smoke, blacker than night, arose in our eyes.

Three young men trapped so high.

We pleaded, we begged, "please get us out or soon we'll be dead."

The woman on the phone tried to stay calm.

She said onto us, "please, don't be alarmed."

We thought there was hope, but the building collapsed and then we were gone.

Up to Heaven we did rise.

Looked down to Earth and our horride demise.

To those terrorists, I hope you're in Hell.

Give thanks in prayers to the ones that fell.

You tried your hardest to save many lives.

We will never forget for our eyes will never dry.
