That Day Will Come

That day will come, When I show myself to the world, Proud of what I've become. O will be steady, strong and bold. Even though tears will be pooling inside of me, My smile will show that I'm ready. That day will come, When my name is set in stone, And every struggle I overcome, Gives fire to my blood, gives hardness to my bones. Even though pain will be my sole companion, This society will see my rebellion. That day will come, When my life turns into a reminder, That every destiny can transform, And no dreamer should surrender. Even though my anger will burn brighter than the sun, They will see my sacrifice in what I've done.
