A Day That Will Live Forever


"If you are reading this...I am already gone." Nothing can compare to what God taught me. I didn't understand at the time, but the tears that came from my dad's eyes flowed down his cheeks like a waterfall. I probably won't understand until the same happens to me. The loss of someone close, your mother, is pain at its worst. I was only a child. I had no idea the impact would be so great. She was gone. Colon cancer had taken her life... Every time I visit my grandpa... I am haunted by the thought, Of what could've been, Of what it might be like today. I was so young, the pain did not set in. I was only a child. A granddaughter.
