Daybreaks to Sunsets

When you first try me I may feel
Warm and fuzzy when I hit your gut
Couple minutes go by a smile may be on your face,
Your head a daze
A laugh or two
When your down I may bring you back up.
Making you forget your problems.
Forget a lie, a death, or maybe a love.
I am an addiction..
Sometimes you begin at daybreak
To beyond the time the sunsets.
You sleep, I may wake you in the dark
You stumble, walking fast, running into things
Parts of me hit go to the floor accompanied by anything you consumed that day
Head spins you lye down.
As years go by you find a girl that makes your head spin with out me.
More years go by you hold your child
Couldn't find more live then that child.
But Somthing isn't right one day,
I come back and hit your gut again and again
This time it's not for laughs or a smile
You are filled with anger, even more with me warming your blood.
Blurry your eyes, grabbing a lamp
Throwing it against the wall smashing it,
You grab books,dishes, braking them.
Your wife walks in with your son
Hand in hand
His eyes grow big
As the sight of he's father,
Red in the face with anger and holes in the walls.
Your wife screams your name asking what had gone wrong, trying to calm you
With me you are not you, with out being aware of it
You react to her touch, without thinking throw
To the floor
Hit her with a closed fist.
It goes black....
Waking up with red flashing lights
On a leather seat, hands behind your back.
I make you black out again...
Wake up again on a cement floor
I am not almost out of your system
But do not leave with out leaving hurt of your head
Also taking memories with me.
"officer why em I here?@ you ask
He pauses looks down at a clipboard checking your record.
He looks at you, shakes he's head, walks away without an answer.
There you sit trying to remember.
Flashes go by of what you did
You realize you may have lost your peace, harmony, love, your life.
She come to your cell black and blue
Purple lips swollen the two
But her eyes of what you can see
Has a faint glimmer of the love only two can consume
For one another
She says you can not touch me again
As long as you live with her as one.
I am not worth the pain of losing a loved one.
You agree and promise
Forever then you live with her and son, forever as a whole. <3
I am fun at times
Make you tell the truth at times
But can also make you lie or hurt somone you love
And care about
Keep it in mind when you drink me
I have all kinds of angles to me
You don't know which will show up..........
