Daydream

Bored

out of my mind,

train of thought

leaving the classroom.

Who knows where

the train can go- be it

the Underworld, Rome,

you never can tell.

Your mind can drift

away to different

lands- of love, of hate,

of Unicorns and Rainbows.

The teacher may drone

on, drool dripping

from your classmates'

mouths. Bu you save

yourself this

humiliation

when you ignore them

completely

and think only of

yourself. In

daydreams, you can do

anything.

Jump low, dig high,

perhaps meet your

Prince Charming.

Or Princess- Daydreams

never judge.

But those ones

are the good kind.

There are also

bad thoughts,

horrifyingly real,

your heart racing, the man

chasing,

while your friends

remain oblivious

to your mental Hell.

So some are

sweet,

some are

cruel, but

the only kind

you can really

believe

is the kind where

you are sitting

in class where you

are Bored

out of your mind,

your Train of thought

escaping the teacher's

boring lecture,

until the bell

forces you

from your

little reverie.
