Daydream

30 minute

1 hour

2 hours

5 hours

7 hours

Man I need to take a shower

What? Bed time in an hour?

But I have a test tomorrow

Woke up late

Rushing around

No time to study now

Catch the bus

Try to cram

Guess I failed that exam

Apply to colleges

Fill out FAFSA

Colorguard practice is today

Oh no! I forgot

But thank God I'm saved

Missed the application deadline

My future is really on the line

No C's for the first semester

Or all hope is lost

I forgot about this Math project

I'll turn it in tomorrow

I really need to retake this test

Darn I missed the deadline

60 on the project oh well

I still have finals

I failed both finals

Now what do I do?

2 C's I didn't want

But it's what I earned

Procrastination is leech

Sucking the life out of my future

Confusing my thoughts

Blurring my vision

Making me think

I can't do things yet

and that it's a good decision

Well, it's time for change

A brand new vision

I will make the right decision

Focus is what I need

Growth is what I want

And I won't be tricked by

Twisted words inside my head

So I'm applying for colleges

Being accepted

Applying for scholarships

And being focused

Work hard

Then work harder

It pays off
