Daydreaming

I had found my inspiration, I had found my muse. I had found an admiration But now its time to choose; Choose to let you know Or live with not knowing what could have been. I’m at lost for words when you’re around You’re like the head cheerleader and I'm just the class clown. And it might seem weird to think about us as a couple But I have the hope that one day out of the blue You will see that what I feel for you is simple And maybe even consider Being mine Not to sweet-talk you into a decision But to me you are the sunshine And Aphrodite is no competition. There is not one word to describe how amazing you are And that's why this poem is so hard But I am trying my best And I want to confess You make me feel like I'm on cloud nine And if I start to fall, you will help me fly. I feel like if you knew, it wouldn't change a thing, You wouldn't magically fall in love with me and there would be a ring. So I will keep writing poems until I get the courage to say I love you, but if all you want to be is friends, then at least you’re in my life in some way.
