Daydreaming: My Escape From Reality
It starts unintentionally, something I do not see coming.
I am staring off into space and suddenly my mind is running.
In this world, I can do anything I choose.
In this world, there is no way I can lose.
I can make something end the way I want it to end.
It cannot hurt, because it is only pretend.
I am not alseep, I am wide awake.
But every feeling is gone, even the heartache.
People look and think I'm crazy,
Because I am smiling and my eyes have gone hazy.
But they are not there, for I cannot see.
Because I am daydreaming, and I have been set free.
