Days

Days of roses Days of wine Days of joy and trust were defined Days of love that filled the air When you could read it loud and clear Days of music, that sound with meaning Infact you could hear the poets heart beating. Days of imagination spread about Even when children were outside gazing at clouds Days where "you have a friend in me" Days of peace and harmony Now-a-days there is no more joy, trust, or allure Now-a-days there is no more but only families that are torn Now-a-days there is no more music in the air, all I ever heard, every third word, profanity conqured Now-a-days there is no more smiles cheek to cheek I think they all got wasted on the stupid gambling streets Now-a-days there is no more judgement of your heart its all about your color skin and what race you are Now-a-days there is no more Doing good in school Its all a popularity contest Who the most is cool? Now-a-days there is no more Such a thing called class The generation got together and decided to act bad. I say these things everyday that we should act a better way. I'll tell them till... but there not listening still perhaps they never will....
