The days became Brighter

The days became Brighter When I had You in my life— My Heart rang—I was happy I sang to myself Blinded, I was By the thought of us together I failed to see You Fall in love with another Obvious, it seemed Over me, you chose Him The thought of me without You Made my Heart go Numb You two seemed ideal— Two halves of a Whole— When I began to accept that I started to Heal I’ve gone on to be happy— To myself, I hum¬— When I see you with Him My Heart still goes Numb.
