Days go by

Another day goes by,

and I continue to search for your face

Another day goes by,

the moments fleet past

the longing remains

what is this place?

where everything is beautiful,

yet I cannot see it all the time

my love waits,

true love waits

for your touch,

for your blessing

until that day arrives,

I wait with patience

I wait with perseverance,

Longing and hope, never subsides;

truly this is truth

I am truth in waiting, for your loving touch

Another day goes by

Another day goes by.

I love how you stress time and waiting! Sometimes, I really want someone to reciprocate, but I have to wait for their answer. This poem is so relatable!
