Days of the week

Today, feels just like any other day

Almost like your  life is controlled by strings.

I guess that's the vibe you get from Monday

But I try to remember the good things.

A day when the routine starts to set in.

Tuesdays are like a double edged sword

For stress and tire come in like toxin

Yet having control feels like I'm landlord.

The Wednesday has been pretty basic.

Nothing's happened that's really noteworthy.

Time starts to become flimsy and static.

I like days like this, they make me happy.

It is a day that makes me miss my bed

Because work arrives in like a parade.

I do it robotically, undisturbed

As the light of Thursday begins to fade.

The optimum day to relax thyselves.

In my opinion, is a Friday noon

Why do I think that? You may ask youselves

Because worries seem to drift in a swoon.

Supposedly the day of least hardwork

But life can be quite complex in a way

And always somehow find myself rework

the issues of the week on Saturday.

Known as the day of a holy concord

Where believers attend church to receive

Sunday's blessings, and worship from the Lord

And prayer for the week to come; believe
