The Days When School Made Sense

When we were little school was something to look forward to,

But now its something you utterly dread on a daily basis.

I remember the days when school made sense,

When we learned something new everyday!

When the teachers were nice and understanding,

When homework wasn't a big priority.

But now we re-learn almost everything,

We learn that World War 2 was something bad, as if we didnt know already.

On some days I wish teachers would take it easy,

I wish we didn't have loads of homework every night.

Us students need to put up a fight!

We should tell these teachers that we are exhausted, stressed, and confused,

We should tell them not to lecture us but to talk to us like we arn't stupid.

I remember the days when school made sense,

When we learned something new everyday!
