In a Daze, For Days
I'm masking my judgement
Releasing my tranquility
I'm moving on to something greater
Don't you see?
Let us make songs, words, and laughter
Then we will be the enchanters
The enchanters of our day in age
And we will be engaged
Engaged to the author of our fate
Who will walk us through a gate
The gate passed fear
The one passed cheer
A gate that will lead to eternity
Where we will have endless possiblities.
One where we can right the end of our story
Maybe with more glory
I want to see this generation
Have a better reputation.
Because when a hole is burned in my memory
My dreams will be the history of the century.
My piece will contribute to the puzzle
Instead of being a puddle
that people fall into
Where they become foreign
I may not see the whole picture
But I am part of the fixture
And together we will be infinite
Instead of being definite
We were beautifully and wonderfully made
So, stay for my parade
Where we will dance
And fall into a trance
With a love filled battle
Where we will gamble
Now you can give your two cents
Because then I'll have a penny to make more sense
