De "Mateo" a "Melodia" (From "Matthew" to "Melody")

Location

Once upon a time,

there was this pretty Mexican girl born to a pretty Mexican woman.

All her famly visited her, and the paramedics marveled at her beauty.

However, only she knew she was a girl.

The pretty Mexican girl is actually a boy.

This boy grew up wishing he had Salma Hayek's shapely figure

and Selena's captivating smile and charisma.

But it was a sin to be different even if God meant it that way.

His mother could only take so much.

This little boy faced shame on a regular basis.

Taunts and vicious stares seeped into his skin like water.

He often prayed for impossible miracles and always apologized for disturbing God.

But God listened intently.

Fast Forward twenty years into the future,

the Mexican boy is now a lavishing Mexican goddess.

She works the runway with golden heels,

hips shaking, lips gracefuly curving into soft smiles.

This beautiful woman fought to be herself in a world full of prejudice.

She came to respect and truly love herself, finding new confidence that was waiting patiently to flourish for many years.

This woman now owns the world
