Dead
Sophie
It might sound like royal vanilla
Purples and pinks
And it sounds feminine and sweet
But do I want that to stick?
I feel silence when I hear my name
A bland, dead flavor
Plain, and not true to myself
Max sounds sharp
A basic, masculine name
Something I love
But others hate
They hate that I want to be someone new
Someone who truly describes who I am
Not a feminine cis girl
But a slightly lost boy
Innocent
Naive
And funny too
A boy that has no shame
Not a royal
Not afraid
