Dead
You know that feeling
When you’re empty and alone
When there is no one you can turn to
Remembering when the sun once shone
You used to be able to laugh
About nothing at all
But now you can’t, for you’ve turned to stone
You’ve started to float aimlessly,
Invisible
No one knows you’re there ‘cuz you don’t make a sound
The people who think you’re perfect live cluelessly
Not knowing you can only feel hurt
And you often think of ending it all
Tired of feeling lower than dirt
When the pain starts killing your soul
Remember I’m here to love and hold you
But I can’t if you’re dead
I just hope, somehow,
I can get this through your
Head.
